Oh, I actually made the sentiment on Word for this card.

I wanted to join in on the Color Throwdown Challenge and wasn't sure if I could make the colors work, as they are not normally colors I would go to.  Don't you just love a good challenge?

 Here's my little bit of brightness that I colored with my Copics.
This is called the 'spotlight technique' when you only color part of the image.

Laundry List:  Spellbinders Labels Three; SU Basic Gray, Old Olive, So Saffron, Yoyo Yellow;

FlashBlack Challenge Blog...how fun~

Hey everyone, I just discovered that the awesome
AMY of Tsuruta Designs 
has a challenge blog called 'Flashback Friday'!

I know that I don't have pic's of any creations prior to when I joined SCS 

(can you believe I didn't take pictures before then?), 

so I had to go to my gallery to figure out what I had there...from way back when.

I found this 'pocket card' that I made for a challenge but technically I used it as 

a gift card holder.

I remember adhering the gift card to the pull out (who did I give this to?)

...ummm, be nice, this was from 2007!

fall colors

I know it's not Fall yet, but somehow I ended up playing with Fall colors
and playing around with one of the banner flags stamp.

Did some actual stitching and faux stitching on this card...

the multi-colored fancy floss is awesome (from We R Memory Keepers--Sew Easy)!

This is for 2 challenges:

'to use ribbon and stitching on your card'

and
for the Simply Scrapping Crafts 
to use no cream or white
(ooops, does the light color around the circles on my pattern paper count?)


I used my fun SEW EASY tools...had it in my 'stash', haven't used it, so took it out for this one!
Truly EASY tool...love it!

Morissa @ Shamrock Stamper started a challenge to use our goodies from our stash and having a shopping ban...sure glad that I'm doing this and discovering what I have and haven't used! *smile*
