{ippity} and Play Date Cafe

Good morning to all!
It's {ippity} Monday and I've combined it with a Play Date Cafe Challenge!

I was so happy to play with my new {ippity} TOTALLY HAPPY set and Just Wanted to Say set, using the PDCC #42--dark brown, green and beige:
From Unity and {ippity} Projects
I embossed the fence and bird along with the frame using my SU Classy Copper embossing powder. I cut out the frame and popped up my sentiment on top. Used my Glorious Green for the foilage along the
bottom.

Thank you so much for dropping in today!  I have been searching for a job and I have to tell you it's a tough market out there.  However, I just landed a part time job for a financial institution working from home...this will help me until I get used to my son's new 'high school' schedule..OMG he's in high school now...and high school starts today on Monday!!!

I will at least be working full time for 2 1/2 weeks just for the training starting next week, but hope to find a  f/t position soon.  At least it's something for now!  This is why I kinda haven't been around too much and I totally missed the {ippity} release party due to interviews and fingerprints and drug tests and stuff!  So sad that I missed the party, but I was there in spirit! *smile*

~Enjoy your day!~

Black and White Story

Happy H{ippity} Monday to you all! If you didn't start at the beginning of the hop, make sure to go to the {ippity} blog to find the list of everyone participating today!

I made some twill bookmarks recently and wanted to try the Corner Bookmark tutorial from Beate over at SCS. In case you're interested, click on this "CORNER BOOKMARK" and you will find the tutorial for this one.

Here's a close-up:
From Unity and {ippity} Projects

I used A BIT OF BURLAP for the background; LOVE IN RETURN for the 'The End' sentiment; SIMPLY HOME for the 'live, love, laugh' sentiment; JUST WANTED TO SAY for the frame; and LIFE'S LITTLE MOMENTS for the 'Here's the Story' title...and isn't it great that you could mix and match all of these {ippity} sets!

I have at least one of each of these in my inventory today, if you NEED one of these sets! *wink*

I made it black and white to go with the current Really Reason Ribbon challenge #5 >> to use black and white, and ribbon, of course!  I love this black and white grosgrain ribbon from RRR too!

See how this bookmark fits perfectly on the corner of my book? In case, you're wondering, I love all things about WWII, so this book happens to be Tom Brokaw's 'An Album of Memories' (love these stories!):

Not sure if you can tell, but I embossed all the white on this bookmark so it could stand out. Also the bottom edge is Tim Holtz Alterations 'On the Edge' die, and used bling from Heidi Swapp.

Enjoy your {ippity} travels today, and THANK YOU for coming by!

You & I for H{ippity} Hop

Hi H{ippity} hopsters!

I'm sharing a card that I made for two challenges:  Unity {ippity} IHHC7 which was to use black, a neutral and one other color; and the PDSS#6: sketch challenge.

I used the frame from the {ippity} Just Wanted to Say set and the words from the {ippity} Life's Little Moments set.  You can't tell too much in the photo, but I Glimmer misted the very vanilla cardstock and the Prima Flower; and used black embossing powder on the frame images...they shine IRL.

From Unity Projects
Stamps: {ippity} Just Wanted to Say, {ippity Life's Little Moments
C/S: All SU: Textured Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Urban Oasis DSP

If you would like to purchase these sets, you may do so by clicking my Jen's Cup of {ippity} site.  NEWSFLASH:  I decided to keep my special through the end of the month:  get one free Unity Palette Hyrbrid Inkpad with your order...must be completed by Sunday, January 31st!
