Capture your {ippity} Moments...

...while hopping along with the fabulous {ippity} DT and all the {ippity} chicks and customers today!
To see the list of participants, please go to the {ippity} blog to get all the links.

Lisa's recent challenge ( {ippity} DT ) was to make an easel card.
I decided to use my {ippity} Life's Little Moments stamp set and create
a little jotter (a gift)
to
'Capture the Moments that take your Breath away'
(yes, there is a stamp set that has this saying!).

Here's a close up of the top...not sure if you can see the shiny c/s that I used:
Here's the jotter opened up.
Each one of the jotter sheets has that scallop lined image stamped on it
and you could either remove each page as you'd like (untie the ribbon)
or simply crease the sheet to work on the next one.
 :

Since I'm showcasing this {ippity} Life's Little Moments stamp set today,

I have 3 sets in stock that I will put for sale for only $15!
Regular $18 (MSRP $24)

The patterned card stock that I used is the
Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 Mini Deck for $6 each.
I only have 2 left in stock and I can't get any more,
as they are sold out at {ippity}!

Send me an email (jenstampin4u at aol dot com) and I will confirm your sale!
Or, check out my {ippity} page by clicking

If you want to make your own 'Easel Card',
go take a look at the tutorial at SCS in the Resources section, 'Easel Card'.

Thank you for coming by today!
Be sure to take a moment
and notice
what takes your breath away?!

joy! joy! joy!

Oh my, one more week and it's Christmas!
Did you get all your shopping done?
Do you have all your plans made?
(I'm not gonna answer these questions right now! heehee)

I'm sure everyone is busy, busy, busy and the holiday excitement is brewing!
So I will make this post really quick!

This is one of my Christmas cards using the
Unity/Webster's Pages 'handmade holidays'.
The outside frame is stamped with Versamark and white embossed, then sprayed with Candy Apple Red Glimmer Mist; looking through the square cut-out the image is stamped with Pacific Point and the 'joy' sentiment is a cut-out in red.
The inside of the card is on shiny cardstock, but you can't tell with the picture.  And since it seemed like this card had lots of shine, I didn't want to do much more to this card, so I just added the triple bow and button on the front:

Don't forget to check out the new stamp sets at Unity...
you can click on the banner below to take you there:

Thank you so much for your kind words and
en'joy' your weekend!

we are family~

Welcome to my Day 3 of Growing in Unity!

Tags, tags, and more tags...isn't this the time of year for tags?

Well this week's Unity Addict's Challenge is 'tags'!
Go take a look at the Unity blog today for all the details to participate.

And, the current All Things Unity Challenge is 'tags'!
Go take a look at the All Things Unity blog for all the details to participate.

Can you guess what creation I'm sharing today?
Yes, you guessed it... A TAG!

For this project, I used this gorgeous background stamp from
I used the owls and sentiment from the Unity Hodge Podge stamp set
I ink embossed, ink distressed, paper pieced, cut out, paper punched, popped up, Smooched, and ribboned (is this a word? heehe) on this tag:
Here's a close-up of the embossing and Smooch on the owls' eyes
(oooh, the close-up makes their eyes look creepy...kinda like zombies...eeek!):
So what do you think?
I think I might make more of these and send them to my sisters
who all live in a different State.

Oh....
remember yesterday that I said someone who comments on yesterday's post
will win 5 random Unity stamps?

That person is...

appreciate the beauty...

Day 2 of my Growing in Unity

First I'd like to show you a creation that I made...a 'Magic Card'!

Okay, so have you ever seen the tutorial that Beate has on SCS?
You make a card with an image that is stamped in black with no color...
then, you pull up the card and the magic of color appears!

At first glance, there is no color on the tree image
(but I had to paste that cute little owl there).
The tree and sentiment are from Unity's KOM {delightful moments}, Dec 2009.
From Unity and {ippity} Projects
=================

Pulling up the card is revealing a polka dot background
and the paper pieced leaves
(the leaves show lots of color in person...and that Staz-on ink is really coming out dark on that acetate....hmmm, must be the photographer!heehee):
From Unity and {ippity} Projects
==================

Now the magic appears and there is color!
(Looks more colorful in person, trust me.)
From Unity and {ippity} Projects
================

So what do you think?  Have you ever made one of these?
You could also write a message on the blank space to appear when you pull up the card!

Click HERE to find the instructions to Beate's Magic Card...
they are fun and her tutorial is step by step!

Okay, drum roll

Unity and {ippity} Music of my Heart

Happy {ippity} Monday!

Guess what?  I'm also hosting Growing in Unity this week!
So, I'm sharing a card that has both {ippity} and Unity images.

Did you see Eva's {ippity} challenge to get inspired from a gallery called 'Cakes for Occasion'...oh my gosh those cakes looked so yummy!
I made this card using {ippity} Music of My Heart,
and the cut out angel is from Unity's Friendship.Love.Miracles KOM (Sept 2008). You can't tell very much from the photo, but the wings have some 'shine' and is popped up:
From Unity and {ippity} Projects
Based on this cake for inspiration...my inspiration was the musical notes and the colors (I added a little red):
So glad you came by today!  Please make sure to visit all the {ippity} goodness...if you need to get the list of participants, visit the {ippity} blog!

Oh, and don't forget to leave a comment on this post for a chance to win

happy holidays...

Happy Unity Friends with Flair Friday!
To see all the flair friends who are hopping today,
you can find the list at the Unity Blog.
If you are following the list, then you have arrived here from
(wow, fantastic creations!)

I finally had time to play with my new 'A Handmade Holiday' stamp set
by Webster's Pages & Unity
I have been pretty busy and also worked lots during the holiday, that I didn't get to stamp much till now.
I'm sharing a card that I made for the
Unity Addict's Challenge by NoraAnne - 'fussy cutting'.
I did 'fussy cut' the ornate frame and 3 layers which hold the sentiment,
and the blue highlighted words on the image,
and the flowers on the edges of the vintage lace...hope this qualifies as 'fussy cutting'.
From Unity and {ippity} Projects
I really looooove the dress form on this stamp and paired this stamp set
with my SU Pacific Blue c/s; papers from My Mind's Eye Magnolia;
vintage lace; Prima flower; and a shell button.

You're next stop is
(awesome inspiration and she's one of the Unity Stamp Company Artista's too!)
Don't forget to look for the 'blinkie'...and you could win a prize!

Thanks for visiting me!
p.s. I'm hosting Growing in Unity next week...
along with the Unity prize, I will be giving away a few other items.
*wink*
