Black and White Story

Happy H{ippity} Monday to you all! If you didn't start at the beginning of the hop, make sure to go to the {ippity} blog to find the list of everyone participating today!

I made some twill bookmarks recently and wanted to try the Corner Bookmark tutorial from Beate over at SCS. In case you're interested, click on this "CORNER BOOKMARK" and you will find the tutorial for this one.

Here's a close-up:
From Unity and {ippity} Projects

I used A BIT OF BURLAP for the background; LOVE IN RETURN for the 'The End' sentiment; SIMPLY HOME for the 'live, love, laugh' sentiment; JUST WANTED TO SAY for the frame; and LIFE'S LITTLE MOMENTS for the 'Here's the Story' title...and isn't it great that you could mix and match all of these {ippity} sets!

I have at least one of each of these in my inventory today, if you NEED one of these sets! *wink*

I made it black and white to go with the current Really Reason Ribbon challenge #5 >> to use black and white, and ribbon, of course!  I love this black and white grosgrain ribbon from RRR too!

See how this bookmark fits perfectly on the corner of my book? In case, you're wondering, I love all things about WWII, so this book happens to be Tom Brokaw's 'An Album of Memories' (love these stories!):

Not sure if you can tell, but I embossed all the white on this bookmark so it could stand out. Also the bottom edge is Tim Holtz Alterations 'On the Edge' die, and used bling from Heidi Swapp.

Enjoy your {ippity} travels today, and THANK YOU for coming by!
