{ippity} Bookmarks

Hi there H{ippity} Hoppers! It's Monday and a fantastic {ippity} Labor Day today!

One of the {ippity} challenges last week was to create something with a 'school' theme, IHHC39.  Since I love books, I decided to make a couple of bookmarks. I like flat bookmarks, because I don't like to make any marks in book pages, so here's a quick project:

Stamps: All {ippity}-Books a Flutter, A Little Buggy, Alphabetically Adorable
C/S: SU-Chocolate Chip, MME-Beloved and Quite Contrary, Neenah Solar White
Ink: Memento Noir, Rich Cocoa, Copics, VersaMark
Accessories: Black EP, Smooch-Gold, Carrol and Green Apple, Grosgrain ribbons, eyelet, corner punch

Enjoy the hop and this fabulous Labor Day!

Hello Jen,

What fabulous bookmarks these are!! I also love reading and totally agree with you that bookmarks should not leave traces in your book, so they have to be flat and these are perfect! Love the ribbons on top and love the letters of 'Read'! Very pretty!

Hugs,
Wendy

Those are really cute! I like flat bookmarks too. Otherwise they aren't really bookmarks but skinny cards that don't open! :D
Thanks for sharing! :o)

I love your book marks, esp. the one on the right that says READ! I am right there with you. I really don't like bulk in my book (don't want to mess up the pages and binding so I can read it over and over and over!)

I am so with you! I don't want any marks at all in my books. In fact, I don't like to make creases on the spines. So I love your bookmarks! I especially like the owls and the tree. Super cute!!
