Life is a test...

Yup, I've been missing!  My new job coming up has me preparing to be out of town for a week and arranging for family to come stay at my house with my son, etc., etc., etc. Seriously, lots to do!

So this card I'm posting is actually fitting for my frame of mind...

I re-posted this card for Amy's Flashback Friday Challenge:
'your first paper pieced card'.
I 'paper-pieced' the television screen and this card is the furthest back that I found with paper-piecing
...this card was posted at SCS HERE on November 1, 2007!

It was for a Chalk it Up Challenge: I used the technique "crinkled chalk", by using cellophane wrap and crinkling it, then inking it with the chalk to get that background.

Flashback Friday Challenges
You still have time to play, so click on this badge above to take you there!
To play...all you need to do is find your first paper-pieced card and RE-POST in a new post and link it up!
Amy's challenges are so fun and all of her guest designers have been fantastic!
YOU WILL have fun!

Jen W is the fabulous Guest Designer who came up with this months' paper-piecing challenge...you can visit her blog here too:
JENerally Speaking.

Julie Smith is the sponsor for this challenge...check out her blog
and I just discovered she has a shop too!

Have a fantastic week...I've got to go check out Julie's shop now...see ya!
