Studio 313 goes Natural!

The new February challenge at the
is here!
The theme this month is: 'Natural Elements-HSC1', such as hemp twine, fibers, raffia, twigs;  natural wood or mulberry papers; sand, seashells, etc.

The prize is $25 of digital images/stamps from
Shawne's selection at Studio 313 and you have an entire month to create!
Studio 313 is now housed at
(click to go there).
What are you waiting for...
come on and join us at the
'Hotspot'
(click the badge below to go there)!

Grab this challenge badge while your at it! *wink*
As I was searching through my 'stash' I found some yummy fibery mulberry paper that I hadn't used in...a long time...look at those fibers! Then I found some raffia, and yup, I haven't used that in a long time either.
This monochromatic card uses the Studio 313
Bird on a Frail Branch Digital Stamp (love this!),
and the
Bird Song Olive Digital Paper.
These digital elements are so easy to print them out as is.  Shawne allows you to resize the image, so I increased the size of the quote and cut out one of the birds to attach to the ribbon and colored it with Copics.
Remainder of items on this card:
Cardstock is SU Very Vanilla, Certainly Celery, Basic Black
Specialty Paper is a medium green mulberry paper (no idea who made this)
Ink is SU Always Artichoke and Old Olive; Copic Markers
Accessories are Spellbinders Curved Rectangles dies; SU Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon, Natural Hemp Twine, Black Raffia
Don't forget to join in on the challenge and link up your card at the Hotspot! If you post your card in a public forum, please attach the code HSC1 too!

Thank you so much for visiting today and I will leave you with a thought to ponder:
'Can mulberry paper make a come back?'

Hi Jen! I love your use of the hemp twine and black raffia as your natural elements. Perfect little touch to a beautiful card. Hugs, Sue
