Wednesday with the {ippity} chicks~

Just a quick post with some really really quick 3x3 note cards today.

The {ippity} chicks are showcasing the same {ippity} set HERE.

The 'J' stamp isn't as dark in person, so when I wrote on these with black ink the message went right on top and the 'J' looked kinda like a watermark.

We are featuring {ippity} Alphabelically Adorable:

{ippity} Fabulous Feature~

Did you know that the {ippity} chicks have a Wednesday Fabulous Feature spot?

We all showcase the same {ippity} stamp set and it's pretty fun to see the different ideas coming from the same set.  To see them all, visit the Unity {ippity} blog!

Today, we are showcasing {ippity} Quotes a'la HAPPY and I made this card.  I stamped the cross stitch stamp on the card and both sides of the Twill Ribbon, cut out and popped up the 'smile', and sponged some edges.

Papers:  Simple Stories "Awesome" line; SU Always Artichoke; Basic Grey 'basics kraft paper pad'.

Spellbinders Labels Four dies

{ippity} Quotes a'la HAPPY:

You are sweet to drop by!

Hope YOU are lifted by someone's 'smile' today!

cute as a button~

All the {ippity} chicks are showcasing the {ippity} Stitches of Buttons stamp today!

If you would like to see everyone's creations, go visit the Unity {ippity} blog and you can see them all!

Papers and letters are from We R Memory Keepers; buttons are from Stampin' Up.

Yes, I fussy cut every button on this card...but I think it looks too busy, right?

You know how you envision something and then when you create it, it's NOT what you wanted?  Yea, that happened on this card.

The red-ish background is actually sprayed with Candy Apply Red Glimmer Mist, but you really can't tell in the photo.

Thanks for looking!

Happy {ippity} day!

'beautiful moments' ~

Have you discovered the new Carta Bella line?

I discovered the 'beautiful moments' paper line...it is sooooo pretty!

I created this for their 'beautiful moments' contest on FB.  It's a mini album/birthday card and I had my son in mind...but I have to wait till his birthday...and it's still 6 months away...talk about thinking ahead!

And who says you can't use 'pink' for a boy's birthday!!!  I kinda thought of going on the sentimental journey with my son's birthday memories from younger days.  He's at that point of not needing mom anymore! Ack!

I used some mini kraft envelopes and each pocket has a mini tag.

The 'beautiful moments' is a sticker and I placed it on very vanilla cardstock, then cut it out to give an edging around it and popped it up with popdots.

This is the cover kraft envelope and this is the tag that was inside with my son's birth date.

Here's the next envelope and tag, that I will write on.

I sponged each tag and envelope with Vintage Photo distressed ink.

I think I will also put a gift card in this envelope with this tag.

These kraft envelopes are the perfect size for gift cards.

And here's the last envelope and tag.

Every single piece of paper, cardstock, stickers are all part of this gorgeous paper line.

Carta Bella.

Beautiful Moments.

Here's the FB link for Carta Bella if you'd like to visit!

Thanks for coming by!
